Hi, I just applied to 2 of my colleges and i’m a bit confused. Neither had a place to enter extracurriculars or anything like that. One of them asked for the courses ive taken/took and the other didnt. Am I supposed to mail this information in on like a resume with my transcript? I feel like without all my extracurriculars and list of my courses my application is rather weak. This may be a simple question, but my school doesnt provide any info on the application proccess, and im 1st gen applicant. Thank you!

I applied to Northern Arizona University and University of Montana
The websites should tell you all the steps you need to take to apply. Likely you will need to have your HS guidance counselor send an official HS transcript. Some schools want you to send official copies of standardized test scores (you do that online via Collegeboard or ACT). Some schools want recommendations.
Some schools don’t really take ECs into account, but you can email the general admissions and ask if you can send a resume to go along with the app you have submitted. Be sure to proofread it well.

Be sure you have run the net price calculator on the website of each college you apply to so you can see if it is affordable. You can only borrow $5,500 in federal loans freshman year, and a bit more each year after. You can borrow a little more if you are really low income, but you really want to know whether schools are affordable before applying.
Some state schools have very simple applications due to the volume of applications they receive. Once you are in their system, you will probably get an email to check the status of your application and will be able to determine if it is complete.
All will require the coordination of your HS. You go to your counselors’ office and ask them to send official transcripts. Your file won’t be read until that’s completed.
NAU’s application is very basic. Both son’s applied. All you need to do is have your HS send an official transcript and you need to send your official ACT/SAT scores. Both son’s received an invitation for a “preferred application” with application fees waived so very simple. No EC’s included either.
