Just curious...

I took a practice test today and I got nothing wrong on the whole thing (other than the essay). Does this mean I would have gotten a 1600 on the old test before 1995, or was the test itself harder too? (I regularly miss nothing on the SAT prep book from Collegeboard, but I usually miss a couple on the other prep books…this almost always happens btw)

The old test and the new test are slightly different (analogies questions and quantitative comparison questions appeared on the old test, and there was no writing section), but the level of difficulty is about the same, so yes, it looks like you would have gotten a 1600 on the old test.

Now if you can just miss nothing on the real test… :)
