<p>Also if you go look at your class schedule via my.pitt/student center login, there should be a link that says “text book summary.” It lists out your books by class, pretty useful.</p>
<p>It is on mine. Go to Student Center Login>Self Service>Enrollment>Class Schedule and then it should be above the box that says “Class Schedule Filters”, a little to the right.</p>
<p>I think this may be done based on the teachers. That is, some teachers put in the book they use on the website, some don’t. So if you don’t see it, don’t worry.</p>
<p>Yeah, I think this is true. Though I would suggest to keep looking back, because more and more of my professors have added their book requirements throughout the summer.</p>
<p>I just remembered-- you can also always just email the professor, say you want to get a head start on buying your books, and ask what books are recommended and/or required for the class you’re taking. (It’s also a good way to introduce yourself as a student before the start of term). I did this with my physics professor freshman year, he was really cool about it!</p>
