Just for fun -- Haiku!

LOL at pie
Pictures - You’ve nailed the many
Star wars pies I made!

The boy loves his dog.
(He never had a sibling)
Unselfconscious joy.

End of ev’ry term-
A rollicking reunion
Makes all of us smile.

Thank you to the OP - this is fun! We do this on our blackberries when we are bored in meetings at work…

She applied to ten
How crazy everyone thought
Now…tough decision!

==============================

Clothes on floor always
Dog hair clings mercilessly
Lint roller…best friend

Connecticut-bound
All day I drove son to school
Rushed home…new Haikus!

I think in Haikus
mundane tasks become poems
cook, clean, shower, write!

Tried to give blood
Iron too low! What? Not me!
Eat spinach, less tea.

Apricots are good
raisins, beef, chicken and fish
multi-vitamin!

I had no idea.
Iron Poor Tired Blood-ME?
Not for long I hope.

Iron; pump and eat
baseballmom I hear ferris
found in liver, Yuck!

Perhaps baseballson
will bake a pie commposed of
spinach and some beef

Daughters do give blood
one faints while the other barfs
Still they perservere

I just love this thread
It has become a highlight
Adore all poets!

gadad am thrilled
you appreciate my work
cheeks pink w/ pride

parents of '09
we have left our source for days
'09 graduation one

I did visit it
made a comment to bump it
were is loyalty

Haiku is clever
can still talk and ask each some
this info I share

If we been left there
all would have been ongoing
and this split not done

two loyalties now
time needed for all of this
family starves and moans

dirty clothes can wear
pleas fall on my deaf ears now
this Haiku must win

prom dress cost so much
if she goes again next year
re-wear or borrow

prom dress exchange
among good and giggly friends
is half of the fun

D loves USC
I went to UCLA
Irony abounds

True I say ma fool
prom dress total racquet
bypass and borrow

Sickness is complete
I realized as I woke up
my mistake above

in response to dad
from georgia I have erred
last line just four beats

wonderful choices
for music musica
your D must be glad

Trojan or Bruin
The neighborhoods do vary
I am on your side.

Pricey prom dresses
make me so very happy
my kid is a guy.

Pricey prom dresses
make me so very happy
my kid is a guy.

TROJAN OR BRUIN?
Get thee to Westwood my D
USC costs dear

My first haiku
Not as good as a cup of asahi.
Should I try sodoku?

Loved prom dress shopping!
Shy D eschewed most dress-up -
Lovely exception.

HA HA coolweather!
I have nothing else to say –
Your haiku’s perfect!

Bought a dress pattern
before my geek_son was born –
well, maybe grandkids.

But I’m still happy
clothes are mostly wash-and-wear –
pants are so easy.

Nothing’s too low-cut,
no tussles over hemlines,
everything matches!

As to dressing up,
well, we limit ourselves to
fancy shirts and such.

My poor casual son,
who’d rather wear a sweatshirt,
must have 60 ties… :o
