thats how i chose, i didn’t hear many good things about the last 3, but no one gets into muir if it’s not their first choice just becuase it is so rediculously selective

EDIT: but this is kinda off topic with the thread

my ucsd frends say u can eat at any college, if u dont mind the walk. cafeterias close at 800pm though. she said that at revelle they have a another late night restaurant and marshall’s is open late too.

im gonna bump this up. chat about anything, PREFERABLY UCSD RELATED. maybe it will help answer some questions u have or open ur mind about ucsd. and no intercollege rivalry allowed…haha jk…

Sadly I’ve heard that when it comes to social life, the campus is pretty much dead. Is there fun stuff to do on campus? If you want to party, is that something that people do at UCSD? What does the social life consist of at UCSD? How are the students when it comes to balancing studying and having fun? Are people generally friendly?

the biomed engineering program is ranked #3 in the nation by U.S. news. right behind Johns Hopkins and Duke. thats why im planning to pay out-of-state tuition for this school.

UCSD is generally a quiet and studious campus. Don’t go there if athletics and school spirit are important to you. It is not a super friendly campus, but the location is beautiful.
