Just got an interview scheduled on 11/29 O_O

<p>O<em>O</em>O_O I’m paniking right now…</p>

<p>I just checked some previous threads saying that…</p>

<p>‘My interviewer told me that they have to send their reports and recs by “Thanksgiving Week.” They said it explicitly’ </p>

<p>So… I just got an e-mail yesterday saying… Contact me to schedule an interview. So I called him today and asked him and he said…</p>

<p>“How about… this Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at McDonald (near my house) ?”</p>

<p>So…</p>

<p>What is going on T-T-T…
Sunday certainly is a part of Thanksgiving week. BUT, isn’t it too late…? Penn Website told me that Interviews will be done by Dec. 1st…</p>

<p>P.s. Maybe I am being sort of creepy and stalkerish about the whole interview business, but I just googled his name (just wondering) and, surprisingly, I found out that he is a lawyer working near my area who graduated Penn about 40 years ago o_O… </p>

<p>I have this feeling that he is the guy because he works near where I live, he’s a part of a committe which directly invovles my county, and… he graduated penn graduate school.
So… based on all those facts that I found from this one webiste… I think… it’s him…</p>

<p>Anyway… funny thing is… this guy seems like he is a lawyer and I am applying for School of engineering and applied science.</p>

<p>Isn’t this interesting ?</p>

<p>A middle aged (maybe more lol) lawyer interviewing an SEAS applicant at McDonald near my house… o_o</p>

<p>Will I even get in to Penn :'(</p>

<p>Maybe I’m just being really creepy and anticipating too much things…</p>

<p>My interview was scheduled for Dec 3rd or 5th or even later last year. Just don’t worry about it.</p>

<p>Really? That’s so weird… I guess those interviewers who said that interviews needed to be in by Thanksgiving were just wrong or setting personal goals or something. I had kind of already “decided” that I wasn’t going to get an interview because I haven’t been contacted yet and it’ll be the Tuesday before Thanksgiving tomorrow and I thought that Thanksgiving was the last day… I guess I could still get one now.</p>

<p>My interviewer said the Thanksgiving weekend was the deadline for her report as well. I dunno.</p>

<p>Whats the big deal - they will be talking about candidates as late as Dec 8-9. If a report comes in Dec 1, they will take it.</p>
