Just how good do you have to be??

I would like to be accepted to any Ivies if possible but the question is simply how good do you have to be? Sorry that I am not yet very used to what is it the most defining requirement for those schools. Yes I am an international student moving to the U.S in August (Fairfax county) and I have lived in New Zealand for 4 years.

I was thinking of maybe something like "All A’s and {numbers} or so of awards and club(diversity).

This means I have to have “perfect” at school grade, “perfect” at EC studies, EC activities for “perfect” leadership and diversity=“PERFECT human being”?? I just want to be assured that this is utterly not true or is it do you think?

No. You have to be much more than perfect. Super human at least. God at best.

God at best?

You have to be CHUCK NORRIS to even THINK about going to an IVY LEAGUE UNIVERSITY…I apologize to my fellow elite universities as I am a mudblood even to speak of their greatness…

BOW DOWN

I heard that if you were a Fields medalist when applying, your odds of acceptance went up to 5%.

Basically, if you don’t spend your summer performing organ transplants for children in Africa, you don’t stand a chance.

You have to be pretty damn good and hot stuff. At least, that’s how I got into princeton.

Yeah, I heard it was so hard that even Chuck Norris got waitlisted. But then Chuck Norris stared at an admissions officer…end of story.

Oh. You’re not supposed to look at admissions officers?

No, average people can look and even stare at admissions officers. But if your name is Chuck Norris, those rules don’t apply. As a matter of fact no rule applies. The last person that Chuck Norris stared at turned into stone.

Ask about him.
