Just making sure...

So, next year I’m going to Bowling Green State University and I plan on studying English and I am considering (maybe) going to law school after undergrad. With law school in mind you aren’t forced to take certain law school pre-reqs (like with med school where you have to do a year of chem and all of that jazz) and I don’t have to take part in the pre-law program correct?

Re line said it all.

If I keep around a 3.3-3.6 during undergrad and get around a 150 on the LSAT would I be in range for schools like fordham, lewis&clark, and depaul?

I meant to put 160*

A 160 won’t be nearly enough for Fordham; I don’t know anything about the other two. I also wouldn’t group them like that, since they’re in completely different parts of the country.

I was just grouping schools by the ones I’m interested in.

Drew00. While in college you might think about taking a law-related course to see if that field is really of interest to you. Many students think that they would like law but really don’t know much about that field until they get into law school, when they find that they might not like it as much as they had anticipated.
I don’t know about Bowling Green specifically, but many universities offer undergraduate courses in topics such as constitutional law, civil rights issues or business law. Think about taking one as an elective, just as you would think about taking an exploratory course in some other subect; also talk with your advisor about any courses of this type that are available.

I was planning on taking some law classes as an undergrad (def. constitutional law). What I’m really interested in is Environmental Law, so hopefully they have some classes in that and I’ve also been looking into getting an internship at the EPA to see how i like it.

Use lawchoolnumbers.com to see if those stats would fit.

(DePaul is my first choice) and according to lawschoolnumbers, the magic numbers for DePaul are: 160-163; 3.3-3.5.

hey DePaulBlueDemon have you ever heard of anyone at DePaul law interning at ACLU?
