Just read rec from the prof I did research under

This is of course derived from the fact that I honestly talk very little.</p>

<p>But if you perceive this as a weakness that you want to overcome, why not address it in a brief essay? Demonstrating potential for growth can be more powerful than presenting a picture-perfect portrait.</p>

<p>It’s unclear because there’s a lot of context we’re missing, but at face value it seems like a good thing to me. I suppose there could be some weird scenario in which this is a bad thing, but I can’t think of any O.o</p>
