Just saw new movie "Carnage"- about parents

Anyone see this yet?
Any thoughts about it?
Whom did you like the best or sympathize with the most?

(it is a movie about two sets of parents who get together to handle an issue between their kids…)

Just saw it. Though it was HYSTERICAL. Very dark though of course.
I actually liked the guys better…and felt more sympathy for them. Strange.
Don’t want to say anymore cause I might spoil it for others.
Highly recommend…

My reaction was similar, though more muted. Incredible acting. Unexpected (out of type, had to stretch) characters played very well by majors:
Christopher Walz
Jodie Foster
John C. Reilly
Kate Winslet

Director: Polanski

Haven’t seen the film but the stage version on which this was based was terrific. And had a better cast, in my opinion. One weird thing I noticed from reading a review of the film, is that they have changed the first names of both female characters. Odd.

Who were the actors you liked so much in the stage version, alwaysamom?

Did anything hit a nerve with you??!

James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Hardin.
Jeff Daniels and Hope Davis.

Like you, I don’t want to say too much for fear of spoiling it for those who have yet to see it! :)

i was in LA when they had the premier, just saw the actors outside Grauman’s, wasnt what i thought the movie was about by the title. sounds more interesting now.
