<p>Sorry to change the topic back to those tests… as an Asian female living in Chico, I don’t get opportunities like that (Acadeca state competition and 1 CB award). I have never heard of these tests and did not hear about them until I became more active on CC. I hope that they are really irrelevant to academic life at Mudd, but I also look up to people who have taken them and gotten great scores.</p>
<p>I will follow this thread closely… I plan to talk to some professors about the expected math abilities when I visit Mudd next month. I do feel I’m slightly disadvantaged in that sense, a little intimidated by the great people who will become my classmates, but mostly very excited.</p>
