Knowing the concepts isn’t enough. You have to apply them VERY quickly. ACT math is more straightforward than SAT math, but you’re pressed for time.

yeahh im aware. i know most of the concepts by heart but things like ellipses n stuff like that throw me off just cuz i dont remember the formula sometimes…but my point was if u know those formulas and things…is that really enough?

My first practice test in math i scored a 28 back in december…i hope ive improved by now. not gonna lie,…i havent done massive practice in math…im pretty good with timing but somtimes if i dont know something thats what throws me off! basically i just looked through the mistakes i made and memorized those concepts most…since the rest of the exam is pretty much knowledge-based.

ahh. hope this is sufficient…only tomorrow will tell…hope it works! gluck to everyone

well, you need to remember this. ACT does not test you like the high school exam; it tests you if you can pull the information out of the text. If you can do that tomorrow, you will ace the test. try not to use calculator.
