Kaplan 12 SAT Wrting section help needed!!!

<p>I know the answer, but will post later. I got this quesion wrong, and still can’t fugure out why.?? Can somebody explain?</p>

<p>does “in which” means “when”?? are they same thing?</p>

<p>I would say C, the sentence still reads perfectly even when C is omitted. Then again this is the section that gives me the most trouble…</p>
