Kaplan ACT Workbook

anybody used the kaplan english, reading workbook?
at first glance, their english section format is like messed up, how is the content,
any comments?

I used it, and it really didn’t help me at all. To be completely honest, to me, reading is something you are either good or bad at, and the only way to improve is to read the New York Times or high level reading materials. The books can’t really improve your ability to read.

English wise, Kaplan actually lowered my score from a 32 to a 28. After which I got a Cliff Notes book, which was all of an hour read that I read before the test, that boosted me to a 34. It costs about 10 bucks online. Really a great resource, goes over all the basic English you will be tested on.
