Are Kaplan courses worth it?
The practice, the skills, etc. etc.
Is the SAT course worth the time and money?

Most people on here will say it’s not worth the time or money. And I’d have to agree. Granted, when I took the course I barely did the work and daydreamed during the practice tests, but I still feel it’s a waste. You’re no better off in one of those classes than you are just buying their book. Like people will say, the only positive to the class is that it allocates time for the SAT. However, if you’re motivated/dedicated enough, self-studying is the more efficient, cheaper way. Personal tutors, on the other hand, can be pretty helpful, but they cost a lot of money and are hard to find (good ones at least). In conclusion, ha, don’t take Kaplan!
