Kaplan prep books for SAT Sciences and Histories??

Hello.
I am trying to choose SAT prep books for Bio M, Chem, Math IC & IIC, and World History. I like to choose 2 prep books from Barron’s & Kaplan & Princeton Review. I heard many good things about Barrons and TPR, but not really many praises for Kaplan. Are Kaplan prep books are good for SAT Sciences and Histories as Barron’s? Which prep book, between Barron and Kaplan, is good for very detailed information? And are Sparknotes prep books for SAT-IIs are good as other prep books?

For Bio, go with Barron’s and Princeton Review. I’ve heard that Kaplan is good for Chem.

This thread doesn’t review much for Kaplan, but they do get a bad rep for a lot of prep books. However, they seem to be effective for US History, but I guess that doesn’t matter if you don’t take it.

I would not say that the Sparknotes prep books are as good, and would steer away from them.

For Bio, I agree with the poster above for Barrons and Princeton Review.

Barrons for Math II.
