I’m a part of a certain internship program and have been offered to join either Kaplan or Princeton Review prep course for free of charge. I’ve read some reviews on the program and they all say that it isn’t really worth it and one can probably get better, more intensive studying done on their own. If I’m already doing a lot of prep on my own and value my time, would it make sense for me to join one of those courses to try out? Do they go beyond just forcing students to study? Would appreciate some further feedback
The free programs are generally training grounds for new teachers with little or no experience. So expect 25-30 students to be crammed in the class (vs about 12-13 for the paid programs with experienced teachers).
Is it worth it? Free is always good, but if you’re motivated and a bit above average, you’re better off passing.
