Kaplan SAT Bio test vs. CB test

Hey,

Today I took a practice test from the Kaplan book and scored a 610. While this isn’t a good score, I read that the Kaplan tests are a lot harder than the real test and provide extraneous information. Based on other people’s experiences with Kaplan, a 610 in Kaplan is about 700-710 on the real thing.

Can anyone confirm this? I really hope the SAT II Bio test isn’t this hard.

I would also like an answer to this.

yeah i found kaplans to be a lot harder than the real test. i got around 720s on kaplan but got an 800 on bio

Okay so that means I should be at around 690-710. Any other input?

well I read through the Kaplan book after taking AP bio, and as soon as I started to take the first test in the Kaplan book, I decided not to do it, because the questions were pretty tough. I got the collegeboard subject test book, and practiced on the tests in there instead, which were a fair amount easier, and ended up getting a 780.

I just took another practice test. I don’t know where the test is from (but I think it’s a sparknotes test), and I got a 660 on it. Not bad.
