They recalculate GPA’s based on their own scale. My daughter did get admitted with a 3.86 UW GPA and a 32 ACT, but I was told on the phone her GPA according to Indiana’s scale was a 3.7. At my d’s school, an A minus is a 4.0, but at Indiana, I think an A- is a 3.7. Also, I think they only look at certain classes for the GPA ( core courses) If your son calls, they may talk to him, they don’t love talking to parents. He can ask what his GPA is on their scale. Also, they said she should get the letter in 6 weeks and she got an email about a week later. I hope this helps. Please let us know what you find out.
