Kelley School of Business - Standard Admit

Hey guys,

I am an International student and a current Standard Admit and I have been really stressed about the admission process and wanted some genuine opinions. I have the following grades for Fall’23 and Spring’24 semesters.

I have A and A+ in all classes except K201 where I got below a B which means I would go through a comprehensive review. Do you think I will make it in? What are the chances I really cannot afford to get rejected.

I am expecting a 3.8+ GPA by the end of Freshman Year. Please do let me know

Yes. Only 12% of the 1000 standard admit applications were auto admitted last year according to the Associate Director of Admissions at Kelley. That left approximately 430 spots open for kids that did not receive all Bs and above. That said, I do think a higher % of spots are available to female applicants bc Kelley is still working to increase their mix of male/female students. A few years ago it was low 30%, I believe they increased it to low 40% over the last 2 years but assume they’d like it close to 50%.

Hey did you end up getting in Im in the same spot as you right now

Do you think the 12% number is accurate?

Graduated from Kelley. Pretty good chances you will get in. I have friends who made Cs in I-core pre reqs and got in. Lmk if you have any other questions about Kelley!

Did you end up getting in? I think I might receive a B- in Calculus but I have B’s and higher in all my actual Kelley courses
