As a public university IU is need-blind, but that does not translate to meeting 100% of your financial need. There are need-blind private colleges that will meet 100% of your need. Need-blind and meeting 100% of your financial need are not synonymous. The term “need-blind” is typically used for private colleges.

Do you mean you received an invitation to apply?

Hi- Hope someone can answer my question. My son is a HS Senior, just started the common app today. We already toured IU & Kelley in March, and he loved it. His weighted GPA is a 91.5, ACT 28, SAT1960, Tri M (music honor society), high honor roll, JV football, track, jazz band, NYSSMA & SCEAMEA. He really wants to get into Kelley.
I’m under the assumption that Kelley accepts a weighted GPA. We would love for him to be a direct admit. IU is rolling - right?
What do you think his chances are?
PS- we also toured Penn State - Smeal School of Biz. But his heart belongs to Kelley. Thoughts? Advice? Thanks! :)
