<p>Hey, everyone!</p>
<p>Just putting the word out that the Behavioral Lab (info can be found here: <a href=“http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/rc/docs/RC_Resources.pdf[/url] ”>http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/rc/docs/RC_Resources.pdf</a> ) at Kellogg will be hiring 2-3 new undergraduates to help out with various research functions.</p>
<p>If you’re either looking to just earn some money while in school, get research experience to help propel you into graduate school (this is great experience for business, marketing, psychology, and economics research), or to start networking with Kellogg faculty, then this is a great opportunity. I did stuff like this in undergrad (as an unpaid volunteer -_-) and it helped me get here somehow as a PhD student.</p>
<p>The two types of positions available are:</p>

JOB TITLE: RESEARCH AIDE 2</p>
<p>DEPARTMENT: Research Computing Kellogg School of Management - [Research</a> Computing – Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University](<a href=“http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/researchcomputing/]Research ”>http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/researchcomputing/ )</p>
<p>JOB DESCRIPTION:
Up to 15 hours per week, based on work-study amount. Duties may include data entry/coding, library work, and some clerical work. Support the research computing staff in the management of activities related to Kelloggs subject pool and other behavioral research resources at the Kellogg School. Support the preparation of training sessions for faculty and PhD students.</p>
<p>QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be an NU undergraduate student with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the 2011-12 academic year. Individual must be reliable, self-motivated, willing to learn, and have good organizational skills. Some familiarity with computers preferred. Familiarity with Excel highly desired. Past experience with research is also a plus.

JOB TITLE: CLERICAL AIDE 4</p>
<p>DEPARTMENT: Research Computing Kellogg School of Management - [Research</a> Computing – Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University](<a href=“http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/researchcomputing/]Research ”>http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/researchcomputing/ )</p>
<p>JOB DESCRIPTION:
10-15 hours per week, ideally 2 hours of work time per day, based on work-study amount. Duties may include support in the preparation of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, expense statements and related transactions; process invoices for payment. Review reports, records, applications and other data for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established procedures. Perform data entry.</p>
<p>QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be an NU undergraduate student with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the 2011-12 academic year. Individual must be reliable, able to work independently with minimum supervision, and have good organizational and computer skills. Experience with Excel Worksheet, gives careful attention to detail, comfortable with math and numeric filing systems.
