Accepted to Kent and NMH for a PG year. Need to go visit both. Any thoughts on pros / cons for both of these schools?
I only go tour NMH before and I feel like there isn’t any population outside of the school in the surrounding area and the wind is too big.( based on my tour experience)
I also only visited there, now that I’m accepted I am definitely considering it because I LOVED the vibe there. Such a down to earth and close knit community too

Are you an athlete?
It will depend on why you chose to do a PG year. If you’re an athlete, the team will matter a lot .
You’re in a different situation than an incoming freshman because you will have little time to get that thing you are going for.
Teams go hot and cold year to year. Last year’s performance is not next year’s.
Look at the facilities for your sport and the coaching team.
Then ask yourself this question: if I got injured and couldn’t participate in my sport for a while which school would I want to be at.
