@kelly31 and @31fan - we are looking at the admitted students’ day form. Kenyon is offering a complimentary hotel accommodations during our visit. Do you by any chance know if the accommodations are for the student only or for up to 2 additional guests as well (me and my husband)?
I don’t know. I assumed it was for a normal hotel room that could fit 3, but I’m not sure.

Congrats on Kenyon acceptance! We attended Admitted Students Day in 2024 and were provided a room with two queen size beds in Mount Vernon. The room was nice and Kenyon puts on quite a weekend for prospective students. My daughter never looked back!

Great to know! And thank you! What will we expect at the Admitted students day? Will my son be able to talk to students and professors in his major? See dorms?
Not sure if it will be the same this year but we were able to spend a lot of time with various deans and the Provost. Our daughter was able to sit in on two classes and meet the professors. There are interesting activities for the parents as well including I believe a cocktail hour where we got to meet the president (I may be conflating admitted students day with orientation- It all melded together in my brain!). The admissions team does a fabulous job and you get to really feel and understand the culture of the school.

My son just got accepted today with a $30K scholarship!! What a surprise! Still waiting to hear from the rest of his RD schools, but he’s stoked!

Yes! Both he and his best friend (who lives in a different city) got accepted yesterday! He also got an email today about flying him in for a weekend. He’s already visited and it’s on his birthday so he’s on the fence, but it has definitely gotten him more excited about Kenyon!

He’ll most likely major in bio or environmental science, but he’s also very into English so I could see him double majoring. Is your kid definitely going?
