Kenyon student killed in Egypt Protests

This is so sad. “Andrew Pochter, a 21-year-old Kenyon College student from Chevy Chase, Md., is the American who was killed Friday in Alexandria, Egypt, when violence broke out during a protest against the government of President Mohammed Morsi. He was one of at least three people who died from injuries they suffered.”

I saw this on the news - a heartbreaking story. He was in Egypt to teach English to 7 and 8 year olds.

Thinking of his family and wishing them peace.

I saw that- so tragic, he sounded like a very compassionate young man just beginning his life.

Just got word from two different friends that their study abroad trips in Egypt have been moved and the leaders are considering canceling early.

Oh no. So sorry to hear this. My heart goes out to the family.
