Kevin Ware...why?

Can’t basketball just be fun?

its not like he wanted to get hurt…

Gosh that was hard to see. Never wanted to see anybody get an injury like that. I had to leave the room. Praying for the guy.

I can’t even imagine how painful an injury like that was. The bench reaction was tear-jerking as well…definitely praying for Kevin

“It’s not like he wanted to get hurt…”

Of course I’m not blaming him, or anybody. I just want to watch and have fun. I hate the injuries.

Heartbreaking. Praying for him…that he’ll heal well and be able to play for his two more seasons.

I actually screamed when I saw his leg break. I thought it was a trick of the camera at first, then I realized…his knee was further up his leg.

Heard he’s out of surgery and doing well. Recovery will take a year.

Yeah but it’s just terrible. I’ve never seen an injury as gruesome. Even the coach was crying (along with the players and hundreds of fans).

He is making a remarkable and rapid recovery, for which I am sure we are all extremely grateful. I recently read that his lead orthopedist suggested that he may have had an unknown injury (stress fracture was specifically mentioned) that weakened his leg bone and resulted in this severe injury (instead of a much more benign one, such as a serious sprain).
