“Women on college campuses are being paid $500 each to hand out coupons while wearing fitted sweatpants with ‘Double Down’ in large letters across their rear ends.”

I think it’s kind of funny. I am the recipient of a KFC Scholarship (really, really ironic) and therefore am kind of being paid by KFC :p.

As to the women’s rights organizations who are complaining, blah blah blah. These women are using their assets to their advantage. Most college women wear tight pants like that anyway- might as well get paid for it. I say good for them!

On a side note- as a vegetarian and animals rights activist, I find KFC deplorable. /OT discussion

yet you gladly take their money?

" The Double Down is God’s gift to food. They shouldn’t need to advertise it at all! "

It was a good idea in theory but horribly executed IMO. I think the execs got stoned and decided to write down whatever they thought of in their heightened state of mind, and then actually put those ideas into action. Yeah two pieces of fried chicken with special sauce and bacon sounds great when you’re high as a kite, but when you actually get your hands on it you realize it’s not that good.

Or maybe she’s working her way through Med school. Or trying to get into a MS or PhD program. Or already in one. Or not telling the truth. Or didn’t get in anywhere.

The biggest problem is that it’s too dry. They probably could do something to fix that, though they won’t. It’s not that bad if you have a dipping sauce though.

This is not news. Have you seen what the “drink girls” that Miller and the other beer companies hire to walk around and give out free beer at college bars wear? Guess what, thems college girls too.

tobaccoNchocolat: That is a loaded question: if I reply in the affirmative that I am indeed engaging in sexual activity, I would be said to be defensive. If I replied in the negative, I would concede your point. Take your sophistry elsewhere.

Gladly? No. But I look at it this way- someone is going to get the money. At least if it’s me, I’m not going to spend that extra money on meat products. I uneasily justify it.
