Kicked out of Community Coll way back when?

I’ve been trying to solve a little mystery for some time now. What sort of violation would get someone expelled from a community college, decades ago? I doubt that it was a violation of the law (no guns, drugs involved for sure). I doubt that it was fight or other physical issue. I’m thinking it must have been cheating of some sort. Any opinions?

I teach at a community college. When students are expelled at our school, it goes before a judicial committee. Usually it is due to the student making threats, other inappropriate behavior or financial aid fraud. Cheating usually results in an F in the course and doesn’t typically reach judicial unless the student contests the F. If a student fails a semester after already being on academic probation (GPA below 2.0) for two semesters, they are barred from enrolling for a year and have to present documentation to be readmitted. I imagine this varies from state to state. You could probably go to the community college website where the individual attended and look at the college policies online. My school has not changed much in the past 20 years in terms of what will get a student expelled. I think some clauses were added after 9/11 to reflect terrorism concerns.
