Kicked out of Honor Society- will that affect acceptance?

<p>I was an officer in Mu Alpha Theta, but because of some strange circumstances (it was trivial, but apparently I I broke some rule our teacher set), I was removed from the club just a few days ago. She said that either I had to “notify my colleges or she would.” </p>

<p>If I have to actually notify the admissions board, how would I do that even? And would that affect my acceptance?</p>

<p>I have never heard of having to notify colleges if you’ve quit a club or EC, which is essentially what honor societies are. It’s really weird that she’s asked you to do that, have you spoken to your counselor? If you have to do it, you’d just call and I don’t believe quitting an ec is grounds for a rescinded acceptance.</p>
