Kids Stuff

Perhaps this is my naturally neurotic nature, but whenever I submit demographic information showing my interest for a college they send me 293223 (exaggerated obviously) pamphlets and things like that. I’ve recently applied as a transfer student to GWU and since I emailed them my demographics as an interested student they’ve only sent me ONE thing, a booklet of their school. Is this typical for GWU? I’ve made sure that my address is correct a million times, but still, I received nothing, and I’m sure it doesn’t mean anything, but it has be a bit nervous. Again, does anyone know if this is typical of GWU when dealing with transfer students – not sending out anything, including pamphlets to keep the students’ interest? Thanks very much for your time.

Anyone care to help?

Don’t know about transfer students in particular, but D was admitted (yesterday), and visited a year ago, and she also received one piece of mail from them. Maybe they’re just saving the trees?

My son received the same booklet (the one in the metallic blue mylar envelope) five times, four of them after he’d already applied. I think it’s random.

Hopfully they’ll send me some. I know that my apps went through, as I’ve confirmed it with them, but it’s sorta a psychological thing when schools send me stuff; makes me feel special :)
