Not to distract from the main point of this story (obviously, he is extraordinary), but I found this statement odd.
He could have gotten his license at age 16 (as many do). Granted it’s probationary for the first year which means you can’t drive others underage or drive after 11pm, but otherwise he could be driving himself to work or the grocery store!
Two degrees - ok, that includes the community college degree at age 11.
I thought the picture of him in knee length jean shorts and calf length black socks was odd. Is that how kids dress these days in California or was his grandpa choosing his outfit?
^^^Not all kids want to wear whatever is ‘in’. I know I didn’t in high school and wore my own thing. I still don’t really care for trends.
