<p>my friend who applied rice ED asked me how the adcoms would respond to risky jokes on his fill-in-the-box, in which he pasted a photo of two lions mating. btw, he likes zoology or whatever, but is this a mistake? would he be able to change it if it is a bad mistake?</p>

<p>Wow, that’s intense. I really don’t think he could change it, but it may not need changing. Maybe it’ll tickle the adcom pink and they’ll let him in. Yeah, it’s definitely risky, but I really don’t think it would hurt his chances terribly. I talked with an admissions person about it, and she said that the box thing was mostly for something to remember the applicant by, like an improv at a theater audition. And two lions mating is certainly memorable… The only thing she said that would be really bad would be something like grains of rice. ;)</p>
