I love my Kindle, and it looks like the latest update has some interesting features. I can’t wait to check it out!

Here is the Amazon site with information on what’s included and how to get it. If you just leave your Kindle wireless on it will eventually get the update automatically.

^^^ read about the update on Facebook. I was notified of the previous update last fall. I waited several months for it to “show up” on my Kindle, but it never did. I found the directions for doing a manual update to be very confusing (I’m a techno neophyte) so I called the Kindle people and a very nice guy walked me through the whole process. D has my Kindle at the moment, so I’m not sure if I’ve gotten the current update or not.

I would not have had any idea about this. Thanks! I am excited about some of these features, too, especially collections. I have pages and pages of school books I’d like to separate from my fun books.

I have a Kindle. I remember hearing about an update somewhere around Christmas.

It came through, automatically, about 3 months later. I looked into the procedure and figured I would screw it up - it was a little complicated for my tech skills.

I left the Kindle on instead of turning it off when I was done reading that session and the download showed up and self installed. I don’t normally just leave it on. So maybe that is the clue.

The collections are my favorite, but I also like having a password. I don’t need DH to find out that I secretly read trashy romance novels late at night.
