I was amazed to discover that I could get a library card from a library on Cape Cod with nothing but my NYS driver’s license. My library system was missing the second book of a trilogy that is part of a longer series I’ve been reading. I was beginning to think I was going to have to buy the one book, but it turned out the Cape Cod library system had it as an ebook. My husband has access to the NYC library system because he works (ed) in the City.
