Features of the Kindle that are good (and mine is 5 + years old)
- decent lifespan
- Can change the font size or the font itself
- Good battery life when on airplane mode
- Fast page turning
- Inexpensive accessories these days like magnetic cases
- Paperwhite able to read without issue in bright sunlight
