I guess I’ll be registering for a Kinesiology class when I go to my NSC. What’s the difference between KINE 198 and 199? It looks like some of the same sports are offered under both. Also, if you pick a class like bowling or canoeing that might be off campus, do you need to have your own transportation or will TAMU somehow provide that? Thanks!

I believe the difference between 198 and 199 (and correct me if I’m wrong) is …

In KINE 198, half of the time you spend in the class is like “health” class where you learn about wellness, nutrition, and all that stuff. The other half you do whatever activity you signed up for. KINE 199, I believe, is entirely activity-based. I think you have to take both of em though. I don’t know the answer to your question about off-campus events.
