Is it easier to get accepted to the University as whole if you apply to the School of Kiniesiology? Or do you have to be accepted by the University first and then you apply to the school?

You select the college/school at UM you wish to apply in your application. The kinieseology admission standards are slightly lower than LSA, and significantly lower than CoE.
If you wish to transfer to a different college/school within the University you will need to meet the standards of that college (varies quite a bit).
