I have been looking for a new Kitchen Faucet. Does anyone have suggestions? Or experience with buying them online? They can be quite pricey and I want to make a good decision.

I bought the hansgroh allegro E at Costco. I had seen it in multiple places for well over $300. It was $249 at costco and I had a $50 off coupon. It is very nice and I love it.

We bought from faucet direct (one word) dot com.

When we renovated our kitchen, I bought all the faucets online. I definitely saved money and didn’t have any problems. We bought Rohl faucets and they’ve been fabulous. I wouldn’t hesitate to select them again.

I’m not very good at linking threads but we had a lengthy one here in the fall about faucets. I had never heard of groh or hansgroh faucets before. Based on the feedback AND the online reviews…I got the Hansgroh. There were lots of comments about various faucets. Hopefully someone can find that thread and link it here for you. Or try doing a search.

I bought this one on amazon.com a couple of months ago when we installed new countertops and sink –
[Amazon.com: Delta 9178-SS-DST Leland Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet, Stainless: Home Improvement](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040YXMYS/ref=oh_o04_s00_i00_details)
We’ve been very happy with it so far. I saw the same faucet on several online sites as well as at Home Depot but Amazon had the best price.

patsmom, we bought a very similar faucet a year ago and love it. We got it at Home Depot.

I’m all about the pull down spout and the swivel spout. Very convenient.

I don’t know about other companies but Moen faucets come with a life time warrenty for as long as you own your house. We have had a couple faucets have problems and Moen came through like a champ.

Moen replaced our first faucet with no questions asked. But when the second one broke, they would not for some reason.

Here are two threads that thumper may have been referring to:

I have had Grohe Bridgefords ( the pull down, not the two handle wide set) in my kitchen for a few years now. Nice discount and customer service from faucetsdirect. They were recommended by our plumber and architect. Got them in the brushed nickel which is more expensive but so easy to keep clean. Great shape for cleaning oversized pots and platters, pulls and returns very smoothly, and have not had any problems or leaks at all. The only feature I would have liked is the button to keep the sprayer on when you step away from the sink. The similar Kohler model had that, but had too many reliability problems.

Sorry, it’s faucetdirect dot com, as NJres posted, not faucets.

I have a Moen, it does the job. My dad has a Grohe, I love it. Love the spray function, great for large pots, etc.

We put in a Grohe Bridgeford dual spray pull-down when we did our reno. It came highly recommended by plumber, designer, architect and fixture store reps. I love it! I also have a Bridgeford bar faucet on another smaller sink in the kitchen. Both work very well and are also attractive.

Thank you so much for your replies. i am going to try the bridgeford and orsder it online I will save at kleast 100.00 dollars. CC always comes through!!!

We have Lafalum84’s Delta faucet and love it. It works fantastically well in every phase.

Highly recommend it. Bought it at Home Depot.

I ordered quite a lot of things for our kitchen remodel from FaucetsDirect.com – they shipped when they said they would and arrived in good condition. Prices were excellent.

We also have a Delta (recommended by the Gen. contractor who oversaw our remodel.
It is very similar to Lafalalum84’s except the water control arm on ours is attached to the side of the faucet. We got ours from Lowes for around $200.

Years ago I changed our kitechen faucet with a Delta one I had bought on sale months before and couldn’t return. I could not find a local plumber willing to replace it, despite it being exactly the same as the ones they sold- they all stated insurance reasons. It was horrible under the sink removing the rusted old one (the reason for switching was the problems due to its condition and functioning). The money saved on the purchase price was spent in hours of agony (plus bifocals are not meant for seeing up close at awkward angles).

We splurged and got a “Lady Luxe” (can’t remember the Brand, but it is a good one - maybe Grohe?). It was actually DH who wanted a Lady Luxe LOL - I had never heard of them. Unfortunately the house is now sold and so no more Lady Luxe for us.
