If anyone is in the market for a personal bag, I did find that Quince has a dupe for the Nomad Lane Bento Bag–and $200 less than the NL version. I haven’t ordered it yet. Love that they both appear to be much more functional-due to the clamshell style opening–than the backpack I’m currently using (highly recommended in a CC travel thread from a few years ago) but not sure I want to give up the backpack straps since I very rarely actually carry on my carryon. With no wheels, I’m not sure I want to schlep around a heavy personal bag without the backpack straps.)
I give up on posting the dresses I found on JJill. Their site works for me. When I paste the links into the thread comments, they seem to not work and lead you to a “site not working” page. I have no idea why the links won’t work here.
Anyway, if you go to their site and go to Dresses, there are some knee-length ones that may work for you.
No zip pockets but the inside pockets are deep.
I bought this rain jacket for my last trip and it worked beautifully. It packs tight when not using and has several zip pockets. When we took the helicopter ride at Franz Josef, I hadn’t realized no bags were allowed. So I quickly put my passport in one pocket, phone in another, sunglasses in a third, and hung my camera around my neck and zipped the jacket up over it. I bought it in mint blue but it comes in many colors.

Nordstrom Rack carries Max Studio dresses. That’s where I bought mine.
Garnet Hill has a number of summery dresses in knits, textured cotton, cotton voile, and crepe that should travel well.

I’d suggest waiting till you get to Croatia. Vendors on the docks when I was there in ‘23 sold all sorts of flowy and fun cotton summer dresses. I can’t vouch for the length, but they seemed the perfect clothing for all the outdoor dining in various ports on the Dalmation coast. Enjoy! I adore that country.
I’ve discovered that a lot of the pockets on dresses are too shallow to be useful.
