Knee Length Summer Dresses? (And other travel gear)

For whatever reason, I’ve decided I want to pack a couple of very casual, cool, “flowy” knee length dresses on my upcoming trip to Croatia, Greece and Japan. They don’t take up any room, are comfortable, versatile and I don’t have to think about putting together an outfit. I could use some help finding them though.

I must have sleeves. Prefer pockets. I really want actual knee-or maybe an inch above the knee-length (but not below). Must be wrinkle proof fabric of some sort. I’m currently a size 8 and 5’9".

Suggestions? Bonus if it fits in my light blue/navy/white/khaki color scheme.

Also looking for:

a dupe for the Nomad Lane bento bag personal bag (that has a full clamshell open flat design with covers on both sides)

Tall/Long travel pants with good pockets that zip

Waterproof fold flat small insulated bag (like one or two lunch sizes)

I have been thinking about ordering a sleeveless dress from here, but they have some with sleeves too -

ETA Athleta Endless High Rise pants MAY have zip front pockets, but I can’t remember.

Max Studio dresses are a fabric you could literally bunch up and put in your pocket and they wouldn’t wrinkle. I have several and take them on trips. But I can’t seem to find them available now…except on Amazon.

Nordstrom Rack by me always has Max Studio dresses but the last time I was there they were all ankle length.

No sleeves, but I just purchased this dress, which is reversible. I love it.

I really like these dresses. There are several styles with various lengths and sleeve options. My favorite style is the Ruby, though it doesn’t have pockets.

Nice pants - Do you wear them length as shown (above ankle)? I’m short, might be tempted to do size regular so longer, which would work better for winter travel.

Per sleevless dresses, I’ve sometimes worn as jumper with tshirt (or long sleeved top) under.

I do get the regular length, and they are around the ankle for me. Sometimes I don’t love that length though, so I should probably get some talls too :grinning_face:

I’ve been happy with the Vuori miles pant for travel. I also have used some pants from Athleta.

My favorite travel skort is from Toad and Co. I also have a couple of travel dresses from them. I like that they have a hidden pocket for my phone.
I’d just make sure the dress fabric is a quick drying fabric.

Don’t forget, a maxi can always be shortened! I have altered almost every dress I’ve ever found that’s flattering - don’t be afraid to alter items for better fit.

These jackets are great for travel (or just every day). Super light weight and wrinkle free. SPF 50+. Stays pretty cool but will keep a draft off you or the sun from eating you or both. Have pockets on outside and inside. I wear a medium (size 8-10 )

Uniqlo has similar jackets but I think the material is just a tad heavier so not quite as cool. I have one too. They are great too with very similar style and same pockets. But size up if interested. I took a large in those.

Nice! I’d like to replace my current white jacket (an experiment from thrift store), since it is too big/billowy. Any chance it has zip pockets?

I have 2 pairs of Vuori miles ankle pants, one pr at home and another pr in my 2nd home. It’s perfect for me because I am short. I always bring one pair to travel with.
