Knitwear Design Major?

College Majors Visual Arts and Film Majors

<p>I’m interested in Knitwear Design, but not considering FIT or FIDM for it. </p>

<p>Do you know of any schools that offer this major? I’d like it as a major instead of just an emphasis in Fashion Design, but that could work as well.</p>

<p>Based on the article, Central St. Martins in UK is the leading school. RISD offers instruction in Knitwear design. the same can be said of FIT. Other schools mentioned in the article are: Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Nottingham Trent University in UK allows kids to specialize in knitwear design, Philadelphia University has a program that is technical oriented and FIDM, Otis College of Art and Design has one course in it Hope this helps.</p>
