<p>So everyone is speaking of getting their appeal letters ready. On the UCB website it says it strongly recommends NOT sending in appeal unless something has substantially changed. Does anyone know of anybody who’s decisions was overturned after an appeal letter? Any idea how many people a year they admit via appeals?</p>
<p>I helped a friend get accepted as a freshman through the appeals process, he must have been on the fence to begin with</p>

<p>For people appealing:
They really mean it when they mean something significant. Don’t waste their time and yours by bringing up things that are on your application (no matter how short the sentence might be, they read it!)…and your money on postage! LOL.</p>
