L-Dub renovations- some before this Fall

<p>For anyone assigned to dreaded L-Dub…some good news according to the Cross Campus section of the YDN:</p>

<p>Lanman-Wright Hall will be renovated over the course of two summers. </p>

<p>After years of enduring every freshman dorm joke, Lanman-Wright Hall is finally getting a facelift.</p>

<p>According to a sign on Old Campus, “L-Dub” will be renovated over the course of two summers…the project includes installing new woodfloors, doors and bathroom fixtures, as well as upgrading the electrical systems. The improved facilities will also involve repointed brownstone and a new slate roof.</p>

<p>Entryways D, E and F are slated for completion before the upcoming fall semester.</p>

<p>Yes, my understanding is that the rooms (on both the Pierson and Berkeley sides) were renovated this summer, as well as Entryways D, E, and F (Pierson entryways), as you said. Entrways A, B, and C (currently Berkeley entryways) are scheduled for next summer.</p>

<p>Yes, the rooms will still be small, but L-Dub wouldn’t be L-Dub any other way.</p>
