<p>So… how did you like your first year at UCSD?</p>
<p>It’s been absolutely amazing, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that it’s probably better than what i would have experienced at UCLA.</p>
<p>interesting. what makes you say that your first year experience was “probably better than what i would have experienced at UCLA”. im just curious. i had a hell of a time at ucsd as a frosh too!</p>
<p>Well, a lot of the activities I was involved with aren’t available at UCLA. Some of the resources that I have here are nothing compared to the same kind of resources that are at UCLA.</p>
<p>Not to mention the amazing group of people I’ve met at UCSD, it’d be hard to match that. </p>
<p>School rankings mean NOTHING, I can now understand that, and wish I understood it when I was in my college admissions process.</p>
<p>wait… how were you able to still go to UCSD? By that time, wasn’t it too late to send in the SIR?</p>
<p>I hadn’t submitted my SIR to anyone when I knew I had gotten a D first semester, so when I got rescinded from LA, I submitted my SIR to UCSD.</p>
