I’ve been hearing conflicting information on this, and I’m trying to get the facts straight. To get AP credit for, say, chemistry at Berkeley, do you need to show them a record of the labs you did? Or is the AP test and class on your transcript enough?

Your AP score is enough.

Really? You don’t even need the class on your transcript, just an AP score?

some people only have the honors version of their class (honors physics, honors chem) but study for the AP exam. So no, there is no need for an AP class on transcript because the passing score on an exam is what determines your readiness and aptitude for the subject.

yep only the AP scores is needed. I think its a high score to pass out especially if you need the class.
