Was looking through majors Rutgers offers and saw the Labor Studies and Employment Relations major. It sounds interesting and very practical. Can someone give me some insight/opinions into this major?

Thanks

if you do not know what major you want to do, then just take the basic classes all students have to take. For example, precal/calc, expos, chemistry, biology and take intro courses for majors you seem interested in. Only thing is that you want to narrow your major search to few majors because taking a whole variety of intro courses for majors will just be a waste of credit space and a semester.

Think about yourself and what you like to do, where you can see yourself as a professional in that field and enjoying it.

I was also thinking about majoring in labor studies myself along with possibly human resource management with an entrepreneurship minor. Personally I still wish I had taken a math class over the summer just in case I change my mind and do accounting or economics instead.
