<p>Recently I’ve considered that teaching small seminars at a LAC in a small New England town might make for a rewarding life (and nice break from New York) for a period. What I want to know is- what does one have to do to achieve this? Must one have a PhD to be considered for such a position? Is a masters/JD sufficient for certain subjects? </p>
<p>I can’t imagine the teaching staffs at these schools are really ALL professors, especially outside the extroarindarily elite ones.</p>
