LAC Transfer

<p>Hello all,</p>

<p>I am considering transfering to a small LAC. However, I currently attend a very large state school (33,000+ students), and nearly all of my classes have had 100-300 students. Unsurprisingly, I have not gotten to know any of my professors at all, nor my TAs. This leaves me with virtually no professors to write a recommendation. Should I include a letter explaining this to schools that require a recommendation or ask an employer or ask a professor that I don’t know anyway? Do you think that LACs would be understanding of this situation? Surely I’m not the first to transfer from a large state school to a small LAC…</p>

<p>I think maybe you should include an employer and/or a HS teacher letter of recommendation. Although it is always preferable that you have a college rec, i think they would understand.</p>
