<p>I want to go to MIT more than any other school in the world, and I really want to study engineering. I’m a rising junior who just moved to a new school, and I had been planning on doubling on science. Unfortunately, the scheduling at the new school is very particular since it is very small, and they will not allow me to double sciences, considering the rest of my course load. This is the first year we are allowed to take APs, but I took 1 last year at my old school just to test the water.
Anyway, to compensate, I am doubling on math and on top of that, self teaching AB Calc, I’ll study physics in school and then double AP bio and AP physics senior year. Am I hurting my chances by not taking an AP science junior year?</p>
