<p>One of my former math teachers has been on my back telling me my decision to apply to mostly LACs was a bad one because if I’m unhappy with it, they make it hard to transfer out by combining courses like history and religion so that the credits will not transfer to larger universities. Is what she says true? I had entertained the possibility of transferring upward and I want to keep my options open.</p>

<p>I don’t agree with your teacher’s assessment because many Universities have general Ed requirements too. This means the subjects for 1st year studies at a LAC are relatively the same as a University.</p>
<p>What you need to review is the LACs you applied to and compare to your state flagship and a handful of other unviersites for general requirements. This will give you a better comparision. </p>
<p>Do you truly want to atttend a LAC? Why does your teacher assume you will want/need to transfer?</p>
